Business Planning Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Planning Manager (BPM) to lead the execution, planning, and coordination of software development projects. The role ensures timely delivery of projects while aligning technical execution with business objectives and operational priorities.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software project management, a solid understanding of development workflows and technologies, and the ability to effectively coordinate between technical and non-technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software project execution, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate effectively with development, QA, UI/UX, sales, and operations teams.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement timely mitigation strategies.
• Ensure alignment of project execution with overall business goals and priorities.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to management.
• Support planning, budgeting inputs, and operational tracking activities.
• Continuously improve project workflows, delivery processes, and cross-team collaboration.
• Stay updated with modern software tools, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in software project management or coordination within a software house / IT company.
• Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar).
• Strong analytical, planning, and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination abilities.
