Business Process Reengineering (BPR) Specialist

The incumbent will assist the Section Head - Business Process Management & Excellence in managing the design, and evaluation, of the business processes pertaining to bank-wide functions for effectiveness, process quality and simplification.

The incumbent will facilitate the respective stakeholders to critically review current processes and suggest to-be process solutions to improve efficiency. The jobholder will ensure research support on account of best practices, Banking industry benchmarks, other customer experiences and technology to enable process re-engineering for improved business process performance through continuous enhancement of all key business processes to align and achieve the bank goals and objectives.


OPERATIONAL

  • Update self on and analyze market conditions, best practices, banking industry benchmarks, other customer experiences and technology which may have considerable impact on the banking business processes practices and recommend appropriate business / process technical solutions to improve business processes efficacy.
  • Assist the Section Head in the establishment and roll out of a standardized approach for process evaluation and continual business process performance improvement.
  • Evaluate the business process re-engineering / improvement suggestions outcomes to ensure compliance with the strategic goals and objectives of the Bank.
  • Support in coordination efforts with the stakeholders to help improve the business processes within the bank wide functions.
  • Conduct time and motion studies on demand in identification of acceptable business process performance levels and non-performing and priority areas for eliminating delays, overlaps, and redundancies.
  • Support in analysis of the elements / activities associated with the business processes to further the identification processes improvement and enhancement initiatives.
  • Perform gap analysis on the as-is and to-be processes with focus on internal / external customer expected experience.
  • Provide necessary business process management support in defining process re-engineering recommendations and suggestions concepts and in formulating significant result indicators, and measurement criteria
