Works with campus constituents to provide support and access to data. This may include assisting with the development of policies and procedures, project management, and monitoring systems and data integrity. Guide users in decision-making regarding codes, values, parameters, data conversion specifications, validation criteria, forms, report standards, and ad-hoc reporting needs. Develop both functional and semi-technical specifications for users and developers. Analyze, troubleshoot, and research system issues as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Work with ITS staff to investigate, analyze and resolve hardware, software and communications issues related to business applications in support of campus operations.
2. Help departments define existing and new business processes, recommend technology solutions, and implement technology solutions.
3. Plan, monitor, analyze, and manage projects to improve business process performance.
4. Elicit user requirements and look for ways to improve and create efficient processes and systems.
5. Assess user requirements and develop reports, dashboards, and analytics to help meet business needs.
6. Provide end user training on system usage, data management, report writing, and other related components.
7. Work with various departments to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
8. Assist with creating and maintaining policy and procedures for various departments
9. Work closely with IT staff in implementing changes and improvements.
10. Perform system maintenance, updates, and assist with debugging as needed.
11. Recommend and implement internal web solutions to assist departments with access to information, resources, and services.
12. Prepare reports, presentations, and participate in meetings as needed.
13. Interact with internal and external customers.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in a business or technology related degree; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
