Position Summary:
The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting organizational effectiveness through data-driven insights and process optimization. This role serves as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure business requirements are clearly defined and implemented.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements for new initiatives and system enhancements.

Process Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements using industry-standard methodologies.

Documentation: Prepare clear and comprehensive documentation, including process maps, functional specifications, and user stories.

Solution Design Support: Work with IT and development teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Testing & Validation: Assist in creating test plans, performing UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and validating deliverables against requirements.

Change Management: Communicate process changes and provide training to ensure smooth implementation.

Continuous Improvement: Monitor KPIs and suggest enhancements to maintain alignment with organizational goals.

Change Advisory Board: Work with IT Development and key stakeholders to prioritize and help manage the biggest impact changes for the company.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, and process improvement

Visio, Lucidchart, or similar for process mapping

Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar for requirement tracking

Confluence, SharePoint, or similar knowledge repositories

Process mapping and workflow design

Basic database concepts (tables, relationships, data models)

Project lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
