We are looking for our Logistic Coordinator to join our team. The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in the supply chain by ensuring the efficient planning, coordination, and execution of domestic road transportation activities. This role supports seamless operations from order processing through final delivery, with a strong focus on cost optimization, on time delivery performance, risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction.
This position is located in Cairo.
Where You’ll Make a Difference
Logistics Planning & Execution
Plan, coordinate, and monitor all domestic road transportation shipments to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery.
Issue trucking requests to approved transport suppliers in line with operational requirements.
Arrange and confirm loading and unloading schedules with customers, transport providers, and drivers.
Support both freight‑out and freight‑in operations, as required by business needs.
Coordination & Communication
Communicate shipment status proactively to internal stakeholders and customers.
Identify, escalate, and resolve transportation issues or delays to minimize service disruptions.
Act as the main point of contact between suppliers, drivers, customers, and internal teams.
Cost Control & Supplier Management
Review and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agreed rates.
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and support logistics cost control initiatives.
Develop, monitor, and maintain transport supplier performance, including service quality, cost, and delivery reliability.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
Update and maintain freight status, performance, and cost reports.
Prepare accurate and timely delivery performance and logistics cost reports for management review.
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs, preventing delays, and enhancing service performance.
What Makes You the Right Fit
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in transportation coordination, logistics operations, or supply chain, ideally within a fast‑paced industrial or FMCG environment.
Strong knowledge of: Domestic road transportation processes, Order‑to‑delivery flows, Freight-in/freight-out operations, Basic cost control and invoice verification
Familiarity with working with transport suppliers, drivers, and internal cross‑functional teams.
Proficiency with ERP systems, TMS, and Excel for reporting and tracking.
