Butcher

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in the UAE or in their home country. This role involves working with a variety of meats, ensuring high-quality standards, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrange cuts of meat in an attractive and organized manner in the display case to encourage customer purchases.
• Weigh, label, and price a variety of meat cuts for customer selections, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction.
• Inspect meat deliveries for quality, freshness, and proper labeling, ensuring all products meet our high standards.
• Use skewers, bone knives, twine, and other specialized tools to prepare and shape roasts for customer purchases.
• Prepare meat in ready-to-cook forms by boning, grinding, cutting, trimming, and tying, based on customer needs.
• Educate customers on various types of poultry, pork, beef, and fish, offering guidance on cuts and cooking methods.
• Rotate products regularly to reduce spoilage and minimize waste, ensuring the best possible product for customers.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary meat preparation area, adhering to all food safety and hygiene guidelines.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience working as a butcher, preferably in the UAE or in your home country.
• Strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and best practices in meat preparation.
• Ability to use a variety of butchering tools, including knives, skewers, and twine, with precision and care.
• Good communication skills and the ability to educate and advise customers on meat selections.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Physical stamina for handling heavy meat cuts and standing for long periods.

Preferred: Experience in customer service with a focus on customer satisfaction is a plus.
Additional certifications or training in food safety or meat handling are also a plus.
