As a Procurement Buyer you will be responsible for all aspects related to the purchase of Direct and Indirect Capital purchases. You will be proficient with electronic purchasing systems, negotiating with suppliers, and analyzing total costs and will protect the Company's interests by reviewing and utilizing appropriate contract terms and conditions and contract templates. Negotiate directly with suppliers; complete in-depth price analyses, develop formal negotiation plans; and resolve exceptions to terms and conditions.

In this role, you will impact the company by driving cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of procurement experience in goods and services buying

• Must have a working knowledge of procurement/sourcing, purchasing procedures, concepts, products, services and strategic supplier management
• Direct and/or Indirect purchasing experience
• Direct negotiation experience
• Knowledge of purchasing systems
• eAuction experience
• Bachelor’s degree

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
