Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Role Purpose:
Ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of materials, equipment, and services while maintaining high quality and minimizing inventory. This includes supplier performance management and implementing strategic sourcing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and deploying Global Supply Management (GSM) strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Update contribution metrics and ensure alignment with cost reduction portfolios.
- Lead or assist in supplier negotiations and contract administration.
- Manage supplier relationships, including conducting audits.
- Create and maintain contractual documents (e.g., supply agreements, pricing agreements, NDAs, insurance certificates).
- Support commodity reviews and gather supply chain intelligence.
- Manage inventory to minimize materials on hand, reduce slow-moving items, and address obsolete materials.
- Act as liaison between plants, including materials and quality teams.
- Recommend and implement changes to purchasing practices to align with legal, policy, and ethical standards.
- Resolve invoicing issues in collaboration with the RTP team.
- Participate in cross-functional teams focused on cost reduction, process improvements, and supply chain issue resolution.
- Protect intellectual property and ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Promote adherence to the Global Buying Policy and ensure compliance.

Experiences and Education:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in a technical field).
Desired:
- Experience as a plant or corporate buyer.
- Proficiency in SAP and GSM processes.
- Experience in manufacturing environments (operations, planning, quality, engineering, supply chain).
- Background in cross-functional teams or matrix environments.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Yellow or Green Belt, C.P.M., CPSM, APICS).
- Exposure to global manufacturing and business practices.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.89 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
