• Identify, evaluate, and source suppliers/vendors globally for fabrics, trims, and accessories.
• Negotiate aggressively on pricing, payment terms, and lead times to secure the best deals for the company.
• Analyze market trends, competitor sourcing strategies, and new product developments to stay ahead in textile innovation.
• Build and maintain strong networks with suppliers, manufacturers, and industry stakeholders.
• Ensure timely procurement aligned with production schedules and quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve disputes, and manipulate situations tactfully to the company’s advantage.
• Travel to trade fairs, exhibitions, and supplier locations to build visibility and expand sourcing networks.
• Work closely with design, production, and merchandising teams to forecast material requirements.
