Must Haves:

Bachelor’s Degree

3–5 years of procurement experience

Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Nice to Haves:

SAP experience

Familiarity with technical drawings and problem solving

APICS certification

Background in aerospace or defense industries

Job Summary:

Responsible for a range of procurement activities, including sourcing, pricing, negotiating terms, and managing supplier relationships to ensure best value and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage purchasing activities, including negotiating pricing, volume discounts, and contracts

Evaluate supplier quotes and select vendors based on quality and cost

Ensure all procurement complies with applicable laws and internal policies

Maintain accurate purchase order data and resolve supplier issues

Analyze and resolve discrepancies in supplier performance

Collaborate across departments to support production and supply chain needs

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

3–5 years in a procurement or buyer role

Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of procurement best practices, particularly in manufacturing or aerospace

Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement systems (e.g., SAP)

Excellent written and verbal communication

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
