Experience Required: At least 7+ year of Experience in CA workload Automation dSeries(preferably r12.0 and above version)
Shift Type: 24/7 Rotational Shifts (Including Nights, Weekends, Holidays)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a technical- Senior Technical Consultant with good knowledge of SAP Batch Job Scheduling tool (CA Workload Automation dSeries r12.0 and above).
The candidate should lead and manage Batch Management team and will act as the primary technical and client-facing point of contact, own end-to-end batch operations, and ensure seamless 24/7 support delivery. This role demands deep technical expertise in CA workload Automation dSeries, strong leadership, proactive client communication, and complete ownership of batch operations and project delivery.
This role is part of a critical 24x7 production support team, requiring flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends, holidays, and during unplanned critical activities or incidents. The position demands a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining operational stability in a high-availability environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Operations
  • Serve as the Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CA Workload Automation dSeries r12.3.
  • Provide hands-on support for job scheduling, monitoring, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
  • Design, implement, and maintain complex batch workflows, calendars, dependencies, and alerts.
  • Ensure stability, reliability, and optimization of batch operations across environments.
  • Lead incident, problem, and change management activities related to batch scheduling.
Team Leadership & Management
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Batch Management Support team.
  • Act as the escalation point for critical production issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide guidance and anytime availability assistance to team members as required.
  • Ensure team adherence to SLAs, operational processes, and best practices.
  • Plan and manage team coverage for 24/7 operations, including Indian holidays.
Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders for all batch-related activities.
  • Manage client communications, status updates, incident reporting, and service reviews.
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive engagement and effective problem resolution.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering stable operations and continuous improvements.
Project & Delivery Ownership
  • Take complete ownership of batch management deliverables and project outcomes.
  • Lead batch-related transitions, migrations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and without operational disruptions.
  • Identify risks, define mitigation strategies, and drive continuous process improvements.
Support & Availability
  • Provide 24/7 production support, including weekends and Indian holidays, as per operational requirements.
  • Willingness to extend working hours beyond shift timings when required.
  • Be available to support and guide the team during critical situations or major incidents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills
  • Expert-level knowledge of CA Workload Automation dSeries r12.0 and above.
  • Strong experience in batch scheduling, monitoring in large enterprise environments.
  • Basic experience in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Strong understanding of job dependencies, calendars, event-driven scheduling, and alerting mechanisms.
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex batch failures and performance issues.
Leadership & Soft Skills
  • Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 production environment.
  • High sense of ownership, accountability, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to independently manage operations and deliver projects without issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in managing large-scale batch operations for critical business systems.
  • Prior experience as a Batch Management Lead or Technical Lead role specifically in SAP area.
  • Experience in Project management role (at least a basic level).
  • Must have technical degree (BE/BTech/MCA, MTech in Computer Science).
  • Must have Knowledge on ERP (SAP).
