CA0228 - Senior UX Designer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to frame problems and define design goals.
• Conduct user research, journey mapping, and task analysis to identify opportunities for improved user experiences.
• Design and prototype user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Quality Engineers to evaluate technical feasibility and ensure design fidelity in implementation.
• Contribute to and expand our Design System, proposing new components and patterns where necessary.
• Lead or support usability testing, synthesizing feedback to refine and validate design solutions.
• Present design concepts and rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Apply strong visual design principles — layout, color, hierarchy, and typography — to deliver intuitive, elegant interfaces.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Mentor and support junior designers, sharing best practices and encouraging design collaboration across teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Product Design or UX Design, preferably on cross-functional agile teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and usability best practices.
• Proficiency in Figma, Jira, and other design collaboration tools.
• Strong skills in responsive web design, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to justify design decisions effectively.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in Healthcare, Wellbeing, or Fitness product design.
• Familiarity with data-driven products and data visualization design.
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems or scalable UI component libraries.
• Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) standards and inclusive design principles.
• Experience designing admin tools or complex web platforms.
