Gateway Construction is a well-established finish carpentry company with over 20 years of experience in commercial construction throughout Northeast Wisconsin. We specialize in high-quality interior finishes — including cabinets, doors, trim, bathroom accessories, and other specialty installations — tailored to meet each customer’s needs.

We’re looking for a reliable, skilled Remodeler to join our growing team. We value quality craftsmanship and offer year-round work — no seasonal layoffs!

This is a hands-on role managing diverse commercial and residential projects. We’re looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, communicates well, and takes pride in seeing a project through to completion.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing remodeling projects from demolition through final finishes, including framing, drywall, painting, cabinetry, doors, windows, trim, bath accessories, and other specialty finishes
• Reviewing project documentation and updating notes daily to ensure accuracy, track missing items, and address errors
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Troubleshooting issues and providing effective solutions
• Communicating progress and updates to supervisors and clients

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 2 years of experience in remodeling, carpentry, construction, or a related field
• Skilled with hand and power tools and able to read technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems a plus
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and adaptability
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
