Primary Job Functions
Complete in-situ and in workshop cabinetry structure and cosmetic repairs that require specialist care and
product use.
Building of new cabinet structures or refurbishing decorative covering as per technical and engineering
drawings using aviation approved products and techniques.
Perform the disassembly, intensive detailing and re-assembly of cabinetry.
Remove, install or restore veneers and other surface finishes on aircraft cabinetry.
Perform incoming, progressive ongoing and post repair inspection of components.
Assist with the design and engineering approval of innovative solutions to non-standard customer requests.
Manage a team of assigned Technical Workers.
Communicate with the customer when necessary and follow up on all customer requests.
Following the company training programs and procedures, including progressive completion of work package
paperwork records.
Secondary Job Functions
Work as Technical Worker on upholstery, saddlery or other components as directed by Workshop Manager.
Driving, delivering, loading, unloading or any other support activities for any other company department as
directed by the Production Manager in the absence of Primary Function activities
Skills & Qualification
Required Qualification & Education
A cabinetmaking or specialist carpentry qualification with 18 months documented experience.
English Proficiency (Speak – Understand – Read – Write).
Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualification & Education
2 years’ documented experience in FAA, EASA or GCAA Part/CAR 145 type organization(s)
United Arab Emirates Light Vehicle Drivers Licence or International equivalent
