Cable Design Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out design and technical studies that satisfy the technical specifications.
• Initiate and follow up all product designing activities by releasing a trial for the new family products, according to the company's design and development procedure; then review the inspection and type test specification and put the acceptance criteria for manufacturing and testing the product as part of product design approval.
• Perform electrical parameters computations, collect and analyse technical & engineering data, prepare high-level reports and summaries, and analyse data for product optimisation and standardisation.
• Participate in the evaluation of process changes or new development of raw material, new process trials, and reporting.
• Responsible for reviewing methods, performance, and conducting continuous research and development in terms of the latest technical standards to upgrade and streamline processes or procedures.
• Responsible for participating with process engineering, production, material departments, and customers to ensure that the related technical and design of the product and/or actions are taken, meet the customer requirements, and quality standards.
• Engage with clients as needed to understand project requirements and ensure the technical scope is met.
• Participate in attending customer visits, technical meetings, seminars, and exhibitions whenever needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field

3-5 years of experience in a similar role
