Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the supervision consultancy team for a large-scale infrastructure development project located approximately 100 km north of Jeddah . The selected candidate will assist the Resident Engineer in supervising electrical infrastructure works on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards.

• Supervise and monitor electrical construction activities on site in accordance with project specifications and approved drawings.

• Assist the Resident Engineer (Electrical) in overseeing electrical infrastructure works.

• Supervise installation of power distribution networks (MV & LV) .

• Monitor works related to street lighting systems and associated infrastructure .

• Supervise installation of telecom infrastructure , including ducts, chambers, and related systems.

• Coordinate electrical works with other utilities including road networks, water supply, sewage, stormwater, gas distribution, irrigation, and landscaping works .

• Ensure contractor compliance with approved method statements, drawings, and quality standards .

• Review contractor submissions including shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents .

• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure proper installation and construction practices.

• Assist in preparing inspection reports, progress reports, and technical documentation .

• Identify and report technical issues, non-conformances, and delays to the Resident Engineer.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure construction or supervision projects.

• Strong experience in power distribution (MV/LV), street lighting, and telecom infrastructure .

• Previous experience working with engineering consultancy firms in a supervision capacity is preferred.

• Good knowledge of electrical installation standards, inspection procedures, and quality control practices .

• Strong coordination, inspection, and reporting skills.
