Overview

Supervising and coordinating the work of construction workers on a site and ensuring that the work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

Arrange entire T&P like sufficient rollers (all types) and in good condition before cable pulling.
Make sure the availability of Puller machine with good working condition before cable pulling.
Ensure the Pilot wire length shall be sufficient as per our section length.
Check and ensure the Cable drums and their healthiness by visual inspection.
Ensure the safety for loading and unloading the cable drum from store to job side.
Ensure the entire PPE is used for the complete team.
Ensure the proper unloading of the drum at specific location with accurate direction of cables.
Before pulling start, to be ensued again that; the trench is free from any obstacle or anything that can damage the cables like nails, stone etc.
Placement of roller to be checked. Especially at corners or any angles to avoid rollers jumping.
Ensure the pulling accessories available at site like Greece etc.
Ensure proper communication equipment to be available on site.
During pulling, to be walked through the cable movement and keep eyes over entire rollers.
After Cable Pulling, to be used proper equipment for removing the cable from rollers.
Ensure the cable dressing is as per the approved design.
Ensure the proper pulling of cable communication fiber and FOC as well.
Ensure the security for the cables after pulling.
Arrange the testing procedure for cable after pulling. (Post installation test)
After successful testing, ensured to start the backfilling to protect the cable at the earliest.
Ensure the entire arrangement for the cable jointing work.
Ensure the entire arrangement for the cable termination.
During joint work or termination work, close coordination shall be arranged with the store, skilled team, and site management.
