Landscaping Foreman

Position Summary

The Landscaping Foreman is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing landscaping projects on-site. This role involves overseeing workers, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining schedules, and enforcing safety standards. The Foreman serves as the key link between management and the crew, ensuring that all landscaping tasks are completed efficiently and according to design specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervision & Coordination

• Lead and supervise a landscaping crew, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.
• Coordinate site activities to ensure work is completed on schedule and within quality standards.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to workers.

2. Project Execution

• Oversee planting, irrigation, turfing, pruning, paving, and general landscape maintenance.
• Read and interpret landscape drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Operate and oversee the use of landscaping tools, equipment, and machinery.

3. Quality & Safety

• Inspect work progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and company standards.
• Enforce safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure equipment and tools are used safely, maintained, and stored properly.

4. Communication & Reporting

• Act as the main point of contact between workers and project/site management.
• Report project progress, challenges, and manpower needs to supervisors.
• Address and resolve site issues promptly to avoid delays.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience (3–5 years) in landscaping, horticulture, or site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, irrigation systems, and plant care.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and drawings.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication skills (Arabic and/or English preferred).
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driving license (Must).
