We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Landscape Inspector to oversee landscape works on a major infrastructure project in Riyadh. The role involves ensuring that all landscape and horticultural works are executed in compliance with project specifications, design intent, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Inspect, monitor, and supervise all landscape construction and maintenance works on-site.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and approved materials.
- Review and verify contractor’s work methods, quality control, and progress reports.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks for hardscape, softscape, irrigation, and planting works.
- Monitor planting materials, soil, turf, and irrigation system installations.
- Verify method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals related to landscape works.
- Ensure that all works comply with environmental and sustainability standards.
- Report non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented by contractors.
- Maintain proper documentation of inspections, reports, and records.
- Coordinate with the Resident Engineer, landscape architect, and other disciplines for smooth execution.
- Monitor contractor’s adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Agriculture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in landscape supervision/inspection, preferably on infrastructure or large-scale urban projects.
- Strong knowledge of hardscape and softscape works, irrigation systems, and planting techniques.
- Familiarity with international standards and local authority requirements.
- SCE registration/certification or eligibility to obtain it (mandatory for KSA projects).
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Previous experience in the Middle East/GCC is preferred.
