CAD & 3D Retail Designer (Merchandising & Store Interiors)

To design makeup merchandising units, retail fixtures, and store interiors that align with global beauty aesthetics. Create CAD drawings, 3D visuals, and layouts that can be used both for in-house planning and contractor/vendor execution.

Essential Skill Sets & Tools

1. CAD Drafting & Technical Drawings

• AutoCAD – for 2D technical drawings, shopfit plans, merchandising fixture details.
• Revit – for BIM/retail space documentation.
• Ability to produce dimensionally accurate drawings for vendors & carpenters.

2. 3D Visualization (Legacy Tools)

• 3ds Max + V-Ray / Corona Renderer – industry standard for realistic interiors.
• SketchUp + V-Ray/Enscape – faster modeling for retail layouts & quick iterations.
• Rhino (optional) – for more complex retail/fixture modeling.

3. AI & Next-Gen Visualization

• MidJourney / Stable Diffusion – for concept ideation & moodboards.
• Kaedim / Luma / Adobe Firefly 3D – for AI-assisted 3D prototyping.
• Runway / Pika – for generating AI walkthrough animations.

4. Retail & Merchandising Knowledge

• Store circulation planning (aisles, gondolas, wall bays).
• Makeup merchandising unit design (lipstick towers, tester units, gondola heads).
• Understanding of luxury cosmetic store layouts (Sephora, Huda Beauty, Dior).

5. Presentation & Documentation

• Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / InDesign – to prepare client/vendor-ready presentations.
• Ability to make retail mockups, renders, and merchandising planograms.

Desired Profile

• Qualified CAD Draftsman or Interior Designer (Diploma/Bachelor’s).
• 2–5 years in retail/interior design (preferably beauty/fashion).
• Portfolio showing store interiors, gondolas, merchandising fixtures, kiosks, or pop-ups.
• Fast worker — can convert sketches → CAD drawings → 3D renders quickly.
• Bonus: Knowledge of material finishes (MDF, acrylic, glass, LED integration) for makeup displays.

You will be expected to deliver

• CAD layouts for new stores/pop-ups
• 3D renders of makeup counters, gondolas, retail shelves, retail interiors and other projects as assigned.
• Quick AI-based concept ideations for new collections & seasonal merchandising.
• Execution-ready technical drawings for local contractors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
