Overview
Closets Las Vegas is seeking an experienced CAD Designer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in cabinetry or closet design who can take ownership of projects from concept to production.
You’ll be responsible for designing functional, high-quality custom storage solutions, including closets, cabinets, pantries, and garage systems. This position works closely with sales, clients, and production to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design custom closets, cabinets, pantries, and garage systems using Mozaik
  • Interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and client specifications
  • Produce detailed shop drawings, cut lists, and parts lists for manufacturing
  • Ensure designs are accurate, buildable, and aligned with production capabilities
  • Collaborate with sales team to refine layouts and meet client needs
  • Coordinate with production to resolve design or build challenges
  • Review and revise designs as needed throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in cabinet, closet, or millwork design
  • Proficiency in Mozaik Cabinet Software (or similar cabinetry design software)
  • Strong understanding of cabinet construction, materials, and hardware
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and measurements
  • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have (Preferred)
  • Experience working with custom manufacturing or CNC environments
  • Knowledge of Mozaik or other industry-specific tools
  • Background in interior design, drafting, or architecture
  • Experience with design presentations
