Sienna Custom Window & Door is a premier supplier of luxury windows and doors, serving the high-end residential market throughout Arizona and beyond. We specialize in creating fully customized solutions that bring architectural visions to life. As our company continues to grow, we are expanding our Project Design Team (PDT) and seeking a talented individual with CAD experience and a background in construction or architectural drafting.

Position Overview

The primary focus of this role is to create detailed shop drawings for custom window and door systems using vendor-supplied documents and architectural plans. A secondary responsibility will include project take-offs and estimating to support the sales and project management teams.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technical drawing, understands architectural design, and has a strong eye for precision and detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate and detailed CAD shop drawings for custom window and door systems.
  • Interpret and work from architectural drawings and specifications for custom homes.
  • Perform material take-offs and assist with project estimating.
  • Review vendor documents, shop drawings, and details for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and project management teams to ensure project accuracy and alignment with client goals.
  • Maintain organization and clarity across multiple ongoing projects and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in the construction, architectural, or fenestration industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or similar) required; training available for the right candidate.
  • Strong understanding of architectural drawings and custom home construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex design details with accuracy.
  • Experience in take-offs and estimating preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with vendor pricing/order systems.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
