CAFM Implementation Engineer - Planon

CAFM Implementation Engineer

We are looking for a CAFM Implementation Engineer to lead and support the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Khazna's CAFM system (Planon). The role requires close collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure successful system integration and alignment with operational goals.

Key Accountabilities

• Implement and configure Planon CAFM modules to facilitate asset & facility management functions, and any other modules required for the data center operations
• Prepare upload sheets and standardize data for upload in coordination with the end users.
• Set up user roles, access permissions, workflows, and automated tasks
• Develop high quality reporting, dashboards, portal interfaces, email notifications, etc
• Set up and coordinate with IT and third party vendors for system integrations (e.g., BMS, ERP, HR systems)
• Serve as the central project coordinator among stakeholders, ensuring deliverables and timelines are met
• Lead testing, training sessions, and onboarding for users
• Oversee data migration from legacy systems and perform quality checks
• Ensure data accuracy and develop dashboards and reports for operational monitoring
• Provide ongoing system support and manage issue escalation
• Collect user feedback and recommend system enhancements
• Maintain up to date documentation on configurations, workflows, and compliance protocols
• The role will be part of the Command & Control Center team within Data Center Operations, focusing on automating and digitalizing the asset management and facility management capabilities and creating world class customer experience.

• Occasional travel may be required to meet with clients, vendors or attend industry conferences.
• Empowered to make decisions regarding the CAFM development and administration within the scope of the projects.
• Authority to recommend changes to the CAFM set up in coordination with the stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Hands on experience with Planon CAFM platform (administration and configuration)
• Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and API integration
• Good understanding of facilities management and service level operations
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with data centers platforms
• Familiarity with SFG20, ASHRAE standards or environmental controls
• Exposure to ITIL or operational risk management frameworks
