THE ROLE:

We are currently looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Cake Shop Assistant to join our team. As a Cake Shop Assistant, you will be the face of our pastry counter, welcoming guests and creating a warm, inviting experience. You will assist in showcasing and serving our selection of cakes, pastries, and sweet treats, ensuring every guest leaves delighted.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Greet and assist guests in a warm and professional manner
• Present and serve cakes, pastries, and other items with care and attention to detail
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing display counter
• Handle orders, payments, and basic cashiering duties
• Support the pastry and service team during busy periods
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and food safety are maintained

ABOUT YOU:

• Previous experience in a café, bakery, or hospitality environment is preferred
• A friendly personality with excellent customer service skills
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for food, especially pastries and desserts
• Well-groomed and presentable, with attention to detail
