The Little School is a Reggio Emilia-inspired, nature-based program committed to raising a generation of curious, adventurous, and empathetic critical thinkers who can change the world for the better. We’re looking for joyful, collaborative, and dedicated classroom teachers to join us [for the 2024-2025 school year] in the following roles:

We are in search of 2 call-out substitute teachers to work with any age between infants and Pre-K.

These teachers inform the school of their availability each Thursday for the following week. The actual weekly work schedule will be communicated through the Office Manager.

Qualifications:

If you have a genuine love for working with children, we want to hear from you! North Carolina Credentials (or equivalent), early childhood education credits, prior experience in similar settings, and a state qualification letter are all preferred. However, if you don’t yet have those credentials, we believe passion, curiosity, and a commitment to growing alongside our children are just as important; we will support the right candidates in pursuing professional development opportunities.
