Job Title: Camp Boss
Job Purpose:
The Camp Boss is responsible for the overall management and administration of staff accommodation (labour/staff camp), ensuring cleanliness, safety, security, and compliance with company standards, government regulations, and welfare requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, manage, and control the daily operations of the camp and staff accommodation.
- Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and hygiene of rooms, common areas, kitchens, and dining halls.
- Maintain accurate records of occupancy, staff movement, and room allocations.
- Monitor and coordinate housekeeping, laundry, and catering services for camp residents.
- Ensure all maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.) are reported and resolved promptly.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and fire prevention measures in the camp.
- Manage and control the inventory of camp supplies, furniture, equipment, and consumables.
- Liaise with HR/Admin regarding new arrivals, check-ins, check-outs, and staff transfers.
- Handle grievances of employees related to accommodation and escalate serious issues to management.
- Ensure discipline and compliance with company rules within the camp.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on camp operations, expenses, and requirements.
- Coordinate transport arrangements when required for staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum High School/Diploma; additional training in hospitality or facility management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Camp Boss, Accommodation Supervisor, or similar role (minimum 3–5 years in GCC preferred).
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi/Arabic is an added advantage).
- Ability to manage multicultural staff and resolve conflicts fairly.
- Knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety regulations in Qatar.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
