Camp Counselor

Are You Fun, Energetic, and Love Working with Kids?

Ocean State School of Gymnastics is looking for high-energy, positive, and FUN Summer Camp Counselors to help make this summer unforgettable for our campers!

If you love playing games, building obstacle courses, leading silly competitions, encouraging kids, and creating a safe space where children can learn and laugh, this is the job for you.

Our counselors are leaders, role models, and the reason kids can’t wait to come back the next day.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading groups of campers through gymnastics activities, games, obstacle courses, and free play
• Creating a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment for children ages 12 and under
• Supervising campers to ensure safety at all times
• Helping run creative games, challenges, crafts, and team activities
• Encouraging kids to try new things and celebrate their progress
• Assisting with snack time, transitions, and daily camp routines
• Bringing big energy, positivity, and enthusiasm every day

What We’re Looking For

• Someone who is fun, upbeat, and loves working with kids
• Responsible and able to supervise groups safely
• Comfortable leading games and keeping kids engaged
• Team players who work well with other counselors
• Someone who can bring the energy even at 8 AM

Bonus Points If You:

• Have gymnastics, sports, coaching, or camp experience
• Have worked with children before (babysitting, coaching, teaching, etc.)
• Are creative and love coming up with games or activities
• Can make kids laugh

Requirements

• Must be reliable and responsible
• Must enjoy working with children
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (training may be provided)
