Camp Incharge

Position Title: Camp Incharge / Camp Manager
Department: Administration / Facilities
Reports to: Admin Manager / HR & Admin Head

Role Purpose

To manage and supervise the daily operations of the labor camp, ensuring the accommodation, welfare, safety, and discipline of all camp residents (workers), while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and municipality regulations.

Key Responsibilities1. Camp Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day management of the labor camp (accommodation, housekeeping, utilities, maintenance).
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all areas (rooms, toilets, kitchens, dining halls, and common areas).
  • Monitor usage of utilities (water, electricity, gas) and take steps to control wastage.
  • Ensure proper waste management and pest control services.

2. Health, Safety & Welfare

  • Enforce compliance with civil defense, municipality, and labor camp regulations.
  • Ensure firefighting equipment, emergency exits, and safety signage are in place and maintained.
  • Arrange medical support and first aid in case of emergencies.
  • Monitor food quality and hygiene in the camp mess/catering services.

3. Resident Management

  • Allocate rooms and maintain updated records of residents.
  • Conduct daily/weekly checks of occupancy and prepare reports.
  • Address workers’ concerns, complaints, and disputes in a timely and fair manner.
  • Ensure all workers follow camp rules and regulations.

4. Staff Supervision

  • Supervise camp staff (cleaners, cooks, security guards, maintenance helpers).
  • Assign daily duties and monitor performance.
  • Ensure adequate security arrangements within the camp.

5. Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate documentation of camp residents (arrival, exit, transfer).
  • Coordinate with HR/Admin regarding new arrivals, repatriation, and absconding cases.
  • Report maintenance issues, safety incidents, or disciplinary cases immediately to management.
  • Submit monthly camp status reports to HR/Admin.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma in Administration/F.M. preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in labor camp management in the UAE/GCC.
  • Familiarity with UAE labor law, municipality, and health & safety regulations.
  • Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi/Urdu or other Asian languages preferred).
  • Strong leadership and conflict-resolution skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
