City University Qatar (CUQ) is undergoing a strategic transformation to support aggressive commercial growth. The Marketing Campaigns Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end events, project management and execution of all commercial campaigns, working across Marketing, Student Recruitment, and Admissions. This role is critical in ensuring CUQ’s campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and with a measurable impact on student recruitment and brand engagement.
The role requires a commercially savvy project manager with a deep understanding of marketing and student recruitment dynamics. The self-starter and change maker capable of establishing project management systems and leading a team through change. They must be strong collaborators with the ability to adapt to the fast-changing environment, capable of influencing stakeholders across departments and external partners while focusing on timely delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
·Design, plan, and execute integrated marketing campaigns to support student recruitment and brand awareness
·Collaborate with Marketing, Student Recruitment, and Admissions teams to align campaign objectives with commercial goals
·Manage campaign timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution
·Coordinate with external marketing agencies, freelancers, and Artan Holding’s Marketing team for campaign production and delivery
·Oversee campaign activities including digital marketing, recruitment events, expos, and outreach initiatives
·Develop and implement project management systems and workflows to support campaign execution
·Monitor campaign performance, analyze ROI, and optimize strategies for maximum impact
·Ensure campaigns are aligned with the student decision-making journey from awareness to enrollment
·Lead the adoption of project management practices within the Marketing team and across campaign stakeholders
Key Deliverables:
·Achievement of annual student recruitment targets Full implementation and adoption of CRM/SIS and AI tools
·Launch of corporate sales function and new product propositions
·Measurable improvement in marketing ROI and sales conversion rate
·Strengthened corporate partnerships and alumni engagement
·Bi-monthly performance reports with actionable insights for senior leadership
Qualifications and Experience:
·Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
·Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing campaign management, preferably in higher education or service-driven sectors.
·Proven track record of managing multi-channel campaigns with measurable outcomes.
·Strong understanding of the student recruitment lifecycle and marketing funnel.
·Experience working with external agencies and managing vendor relationships.
·Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
·Commercial acumen and ability to assess and optimize campaign ROI.
·Familiarity with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and campaign analytics.
