Ministry Purpose: Consistent with Romans 12:9-15 and Ephesians 4:11-12, all Bethlehem Church employees are responsible for assisting the Lead Pastor and staff in carrying out the daily ministry functions of Bethlehem Church and all other duties as assigned.

Job Description: This position will support the campus pastor in carrying out his leadership and pastoral duties. They will seek to use their personal gifts and technical skills for the benefit of the church by contributing to the campus pastor's effectiveness and efficiency. The person in this position will demonstrate organizational skills, as well as an ability to relate well with a diversity of people: pastoral staff, church leaders, members, and visitors.

Job Classification: Full-Time / Exempt

Reports to: Campus Pastor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and coordinate the Campus Pastor’s calendar, including meetings/events from inception to completion
  • Assist in developing the systems for volunteer scheduling to fill campus needs
  • Support the Campus Pastor and, at their discretion, provide administrative and operational assistance to other campus staff
  • Follow up with first-time guests and support their assimilation through Next Step or similar engagement pathways
  • Coordinate and manage event logistics and execution, ensuring alignment with overall campus strategy
  • Oversee and coordinate the Guest Services and Prep Teams, including responsibilities such as ordering supplies, managing hospitality needs, and recruiting volunteers.
  • Utilize eSpace or similar project management tools to support scheduling, resource allocation, and task coordination
  • Oversee the background check process for campus volunteers and staff in accordance with church policies and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills across all levels of campus communication
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Participate in annual evaluations
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma that includes technology or business classes
  • Proficiency with computers and office equipment is a plus
  • Basic computer networking skills
