CAO

Our Client, a Large Corporation with operations in PR is hiring the CAO position reporting directly to the CFO.

The main objective of this position is to lead all the accounting functions within the Company contributing to the overall business strategy and operational excellence. This role is part of the management team, manage large scale projects and budgets, and aligns their area with company objectives

Close collaboration with the executive team and representation of the Company in high level negotiations

Responsibilities:

• Be part of the organizational leadership
• Serves as a strategic financial business partner to the CFO
• Ensure the organization has best in class accounting processes
• Mitigate financial and operational risks
• Align accounting operations within organizational goals
• Lead process improvements
• Supervise and develop talent in the accounting team
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting
• Ensures internal controls
• Prepare presentations to analyze the financial position of the business
• Ensures compliance with tax and local regulations
• Drives accounting process transformation and automation
• Provides strategic guidance and leadership to support business objectives

• Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
• CPA required
• 10 plus years of experience in leadership positions
• Proven track record in supervising accounting operations, financial reporting and budgeting processes
• Expertise in regulatory compliance, internal controls and risk management
• Strong proficiency in GAAP,
• Ability to lead and mentor a financial team
• English proficiency required
• Strong technical proficiency to optimize process
• Strong analytical skills
