Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic guest-focused Front Office professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

As a Captain of Club Rotana, you are responsible for ensuring and maintaining all services offered on the Club Rotana Floors and the Club Lounge, aiming for maximum guest satisfaction to make their stay memorable. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Having a good knowledge of all systems and procedures applicable on the Club Rotana Floor to supervise employees decisively.
  • Being responsible for all activities related to the Executive Floor, including rooms and lounge.
  • Providing high-level customer service and maintaining a high profile in the daily operations of the Club Rotana, ensuring personalized service for each guest.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hotel information and local services, including operating hours, promotions, events, and attractions.
  • Monitoring all executive floor personnel to ensure maximum guest satisfaction through personal recognition and prompt, cordial attention from arrival through departure.
  • Reviewing the arrival list for all arrivals and VIPs to check room allocations, amenities, and special requests.

Skills, Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should ideally hold a degree in hospitality with previous experience in the Front Office Department and Food & Beverage service within a hotel. Fluency in written and spoken English, immaculate personal presentation, and effective problem-solving skills are essential. Knowledge of Opera and computer literacy will be highly regarded.

Knowledge & Competencies

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Guest Relations and Executive Club operations, with excellent presentation and communication skills, and a high aptitude for customer care. You should be proactive, outgoing, charismatic, approachable, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Leadership skills and the ability to work with a multicultural team and guests are essential, along with competencies such as:
