Job Summary

We are seeking a confident and service-oriented Captain Waitress to lead our restaurant team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest. This role involves supervising daily service operations, guiding and motivating the waitstaff, and maintaining high standards of hospitality and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a team leader, and someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding guest service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet, welcome, and seat guests courteously while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Supervise and support waitstaff to deliver smooth, efficient, and high-quality service.
  • Accurately take and relay guest orders to the kitchen and bar teams.
  • Inspect food and beverage presentation to ensure it meets restaurant standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout service and respond promptly to any concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all service areas.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate new and existing team members to enhance performance and teamwork.
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, and management teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage billing procedures, process payments, and ensure cash handling accuracy.
  • Prepare end-of-shift reports, perform stock counts, and reconcile cash transactions.
  • Adhere to hygiene, health, safety, and company policies at all times.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, briefings, and training sessions.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Captain, Supervisor, or Senior Waitress in a restaurant or F&B operation.
  • Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
  • Friendly, confident personality with exceptional customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and rotating shifts as required.
