Job Purpose:
To inspect vehicles, assess car care service requirements, prepare accurate estimates, and communicate cost and service details to customers while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:1. Vehicle Inspection & Assessment
- Perform thorough inspections of vehicles for detailing, polishing, tinting, ceramic coating, paint protection film (PPF), and other car care services.
- Identify surface defects such as scratches, dents, oxidation, and paint issues.
- Document inspection findings and recommend appropriate treatments.
2. Estimation & Pricing
- Prepare accurate service estimates based on the vehicle's condition, service requirements, and company pricing guidelines.
- Provide detailed cost breakdowns, including materials, labor, and timelines.
- Update customers on additional costs if extra work is required.
3. Customer Communication
- Explain service recommendations and estimates clearly to customers.
- Address queries and provide expert advice on car care solutions.
- Ensure customers understand the scope of work and the expected results.
4. Coordination & Workflow Management
- Coordinate with the car care team to schedule jobs and ensure timely service delivery.
- Follow up on job progress and update customers.
- Ensure service quality meets company standards.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, approvals, invoices, and completed jobs.
- Prepare daily/weekly activity reports for the Service Manager.
- Ensure all documentation is aligned with company policies.
6. Quality & Safety Compliance
- Ensure all car care products and equipment are used safely and correctly.
- Adhere to company safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Report any issues or delays promptly to the management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or relevant certification; automotive/car care training preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in car care, detailing, or automotive service estimating.
- Strong knowledge of detailing techniques, products, and tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to assess vehicle conditions accurately.
- Basic computer skills for preparing estimates and reports.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
