Car Carrier Operations Director

To lead and oversee all operations related to car carrier transportation, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high-quality service delivery while optimizing operational performance and reducing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day car carrier operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of vehicles.
• Plan and schedule truck routes to ensure on-time deliveries with minimal operational costs.
• Manage the fleet of car carriers, ensuring regular maintenance and upgrades.
• Lead and supervise operational teams, including drivers and logistics personnel.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Coordinate with other departments such as customer service, maintenance, and warehousing to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operational effectiveness.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic, transportation, and environmental regulations.
• Handle operational emergencies and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in transportation or logistics, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of transportation systems and vehicle tracking technologies (e.g., GPS, ERP systems).
• Excellent leadership, planning, and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with local and international heavy vehicle regulations.
