Cardiologist - Consultant

We are hiring a highly experienced MD / DM Cardiologist for a leading 550-bedded multispeciality hospital located in Vijayawada.
The doctor will be responsible for providing comprehensive cardiac care including OPD, IPD, emergency management, and interventional procedures (if applicable).
The role requires strong clinical judgment, patient management skills, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of cardiac care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose & treat cardiac diseases (CAD, arrhythmias, heart failure, hypertension).
• Perform cardiac procedures (Angiography, Angioplasty, Pacemaker, Device Therapy) – if Interventional.
• Provide OPD consultations and inpatient management.
• Handle cardiac emergencies and support ICU/Cath Lab teams.
• Collaborate with departments such as Emergency Medicine, Critical Care & Cardiac Surgery.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow clinical protocols.

Requirements

• Qualification: MD Cardiology / DM Cardiology (Mandatory)
• Experience: Minimum 10+ years post-qualification
• Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration
• Expertise in interventional or non-interventional cardiology
• Strong ability to manage high-volume cardiac OPD & emergencies
• Excellent diagnostic, procedural, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary hospital environment
