Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Career Counselor / Creative Writer with proven global education consultancy experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in student counseling, academic career planning, and professional academic writing, particularly within the international education and student visa application process. This role requires a structured thinker with excellent writing skills, a deep understanding of university guidelines, and the ability to produce plagiarism-free, high-quality academic content.

Key Responsibilities

Career Counseling & Student Guidance

• Provide one-on-one academic and career counseling to students, guiding them on academic progression, course selection, and international study pathways.
• Assess student profiles and recommend suitable universities, programs, and countries based on academic background, career goals, and eligibility.
• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the student’s educational journey.

Student Visa & Application Support

• Assist students with the end-to-end student visa and education application process, ensuring compliance with international requirements.
• Coordinate documentation, timelines, and application submissions for global institutions.
• Liaise with internal teams and, where required, external stakeholders.

Academic & Creative Writing

• Draft, review, and edit Statements of Purpose (SOPs), Personal Statements, Motivation Letters, Recommendation Letters, Study Plans, and Academic Assignments.
• Ensure all written content follows a professional academic tone, aligns with university-specific guidelines, and reflects the student’s profile authentically.
• Deliver plagiarism-free, original, and well-structured content with strong logical flow and clarity.

Quality & Compliance

• Apply critical thinking and structured writing methodologies to enhance academic impact.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, grammar, coherence, and formatting.
• Stay updated on global education trends, admission criteria, and institutional expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in global education consultancy or a related academic advisory role.
• Demonstrated experience as a career counselor guiding students on academic and professional progression.
• Hands-on experience with student visa and international education application processes.
• Exceptional writing skills with expertise in:

• Recommendation Letters

• Academic Assignments
• Strong understanding of university guidelines, academic ethics, and plagiarism policies.
• Ability to produce original, critical, and structured academic content.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple student profiles and deadlines.

Preferred Attributes

• Studied Law is a plus (knowledge of legal or regulatory frameworks related to education and visas is advantageous).
• Experience working with international universities or global admission frameworks.
• Familiarity with plagiarism-detection standards and academic integrity tools.
