Responsibilities:
Operational:
1. Receive allocated work, examines, assess and plan service and repair work under guidance of Team Leader, Service, performs difficult repair work on a variety of vehicle mechanical parts (engine, transmission, suspension, etc.)
2. Receive Job Card from Team Leader, Service or Job Controller, read, understand and follow the list of Jobs specified, requisition parts I.P.R. and obtain countersignature.
3. Examine vehicle, carry out service jobs, tear down failed assemblies as required to assess cause of failure, nature and extent of repair and informs Team Leader, Service of additional diagnostics needed and required on the Job Card.
4. Plan necessary work, referring to manufacturer's manuals for complex and other work and determine new parts or machining operations and initiates through Team Leader, Service.
5. Reassemble parts making precision measurements and check for correct functioning using hand tools, gauges, inspection and measuring equipment (portable and stationary), check lists and other process aids.
6. Comply with the Group's standard for housekeeping, personal safety and appearance.
7. Use all safety and health materials & tools.
Adhere to Al-Sayer Group policies and health and safety regulations.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
