Job Summary/Purpose:
Perform electrical jobs for the Heavy Equipment at Service division of BTC.

Operational:
1. Obtain job card from the Supervisor, check vehicle for damages/faults, check job as per job card, mark jobs not mentioned on the job card as supplementary and inform the Supervisor about it.
2. Identify spare parts required to perform the repair, verify it with Service Supervisor and order it from the parts department.
3. Perform repair using service manuals and / or manufacturer's repair procedures.
4. Check battery, electrical systems, A/C in the vehicles and perform troubleshooting.
5. Close job clock, report to the Supervisor and arrange for the road test.
6. Ensure high quality of repair and timely completion in accordance with manufacturer's labor time guide.
7. Inform Service Supervisor of any delay in job completion and / or additional repairs required to bring the Equipment to operational condition.
8. Maintain high cleanliness of the workshop areas.
9. Maintain tools inventory.
