Position Title: Senior Electrical Technician

Position Overview:

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Technician to lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems in our construction and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should have strong field experience in executing medium to large-scale projects, knowledge of local regulations, and the ability to lead junior technicians on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute installation of electrical systems including power, lighting, earthing, and ELV.
• Interpret and implement electrical drawings, layouts, and single-line diagrams.
• Lead testing and commissioning of DBs, SMDBs, panels, and protection devices.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and site supervisors to ensure timely task completion.
• Ensure materials, tools, and manpower are available and properly allocated.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs of electrical systems and components.
• Maintain safety and compliance with KFD/KFF/MEW regulations.
• Guide and train junior technicians and helpers on correct installation practices.
• Prepare daily progress updates and submit site activity reports to supervisors.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation and supervision.
• Deep knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and Kuwait authority requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and load schedules.
• Familiarity with tools, testing equipment, and permit-to-work procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Transferable residency in Kuwait preferred.

Interview Process:

All candidates will go through a three-step selection process:

• HR Round – Review of experience, eligibility, and employment documentation.
• Technical Round – Practical and theoretical assessment of electrical skills, authority standards, and safety compliance.
• Managerial Round – Evaluation of leadership skills, team management, and ability to handle site responsibilities independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: KD250.000 - KD375.000 per month
