Electrical site egineer

Job Objective:

Organizing and leading electrical technician teams on-site, supervising the daily execution of electrical works to ensure compliance with drawings and technical instructions, while maintaining quality and safety standards and achieving progress according to the project schedule.

Key duties and Tasks:

• Distributing technicians across daily tasks and following up on the execution of works on-site. Supervising electrical wiring, panel installations, lighting works, and low voltage systems.
• Ensuring that execution complies with drawings and technical instructions in coordination with the responsible engineer.
• Monitoring work quality and reporting any errors or technical conflicts.
• Assisting technicians in resolving daily issues and providing necessary technical support.
• Following up on the availability of materials and tools required for the work.
• Ensuring adherence to electrical safety instructions on-site. Attending daily field meetings if requested.
• Preparing simple progress reports and submitting them to the engineer or project management.

Educational Qualification:

• Industrial diploma or technical institute certificate in Electricity (Power or Installations).

Work Experience:

• 5 years of practical experience in electrical project sites.

Skills:

• Proficient in manual and technical work related to wiring and installations.
• Ability to lead a team of technicians and effectively assign tasks.
• Good knowledge of electrical drawings.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to solve field problems.

The ideal candidate should have a solid working knowledge of the following software:

• AutoCAD Electrical: for creating and editing detailed electrical drawings and schematics.
• Revit MEP: for working within a BIM environment and coordinating electrical systems in multi-disciplinary projects.
• Dialux or Dialux Evo: for lighting design and performing lighting calculations in compliance with standards.
• ETAP, Ecodial, or similar software: for electrical load flow analysis, short circuit studies, and protection coordination.
• Microsoft Excel (Advanced): for preparing electrical load schedules, calculations, and technical reports.

Languages:

• Fluency in Arabic.
• Proficiency in English (both technical and administrative) is a strong advantage.
