Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by checking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration regularly
- Administer medication as prescribed, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and care plans
- Support patients with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration
- Observe and document patient conditions, behaviors, and progress to inform care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
- Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s <PERSON> to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties aligned with health standards
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive atmosphere for residents or clients
- Follow all safety protocols including CPR, First Aid, and emergency procedures during incidents or health crises
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans tailored to each person’s needs
Requirements
- Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is advantageous
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks when assisting residents or patients
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in health status
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
- Compassionate attitude combined with patience and resilience in challenging situations
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or overnight hours as needed

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
