Caregiver Floater

Float Caregiver (Full-Time, Guaranteed Hours – 40 week) OR (Part-Time weekends)

Guaranteed Hourly Pay- increased rate when you are on shifts

Care for Life LLC is seeking a dependable, experienced, personable, and highly adaptable Float Caregivers to join our team. This full-time position offers guaranteed hours with a consistent schedule during M-F. We are also hiring for someone on the weekends (can be one or both days). We will be hiring 2-3 individuals for this role.

Shift days to be determined at time of hire yet will be consistent each week.

This role is perfect for someone who has caregiving experience, enjoys variety, can self-direct, and is confident working with different clients, homes, and care team members.

• About the Float Caregiver Role

The Float Caregiver is a key team member who responds to last-minute scheduling needs and fills open client visits. You will receive training in most of our clients’ homes so you can step in confidently and ensure continuity of care.

When not actively caregiving, you may assist as needed with other duties including (or you may be not working and still getting paid!):

• Community support tasks

• Office/administrative support

• Client wellness check-ins and follow-up

• Supporting supervisors or care teams as needed

Responsibilities

• Must be reliable and not a person who misses a lot of work

• Provide high-quality non-medical care to clients in their homes

• Step in professionally for last-minute or open shifts

• Train across a wide range of client homes and needs

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and staff

• Follow care plans, safety standards, and agency procedures

• Assist with agency support tasks during downtime

✔️ Requirements

• 3+ Years Experience in Caregiving Required

• Highly reliable and punctual

• Responsible, organized, and trustworthy

• Able to self-direct and work independently

• Comfortable working with varied clients and staff

• Personable, patient, and professional

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to work M-F 7-6 or weekends 7-5 (these are separate positions)

• This is not a position for someone who calls off shifts on a regular basis.
