Overview

The Cargo Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining business opportunities within the air cargo sector. The role focuses on expanding market share, building strong relationships with clients and partners, and achieving revenue targets through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to grow the cargo segment.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in both local and international markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for potential clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth cargo handling and client satisfaction.
  • Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and business growth.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 2-7 years of experience in air cargo, logistics, or freight forwarding business development.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of the cargo industry and market trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
