Carpenter

Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled Gypsum Carpenters/Workers to join our construction and interior fit-out team. The role involves installing, repairing, and finishing gypsum board (drywall), ceilings, and partitions according to specifications while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret drawings and layouts for gypsum works.
• Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards, ceilings, and wall partitions.
• Frame and install metal/wooden supports for false ceilings and drywall systems.
• Apply joint compound, tape, and finishes to ensure smooth surfaces.
• Install decorative gypsum elements such as cornices and moldings.
• Ensure accurate alignment, leveling, and finishing of all installations.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely.
• Follow company and site safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Gypsum Carpenter/Worker.
• Knowledge of drywall installation, false ceiling systems, and partitions.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Physical stamina and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial or residential interior fit-outs.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
