Carpenter

The Carpenter is responsible for performing all types of carpentry and woodwork-related tasks including installation, repair, and maintenance of wooden structures, doors, furniture, cabinets, and other fittings within company-managed facilities. The role ensures all carpentry work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to company and client standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine and preventive maintenance for all wooden fixtures and fittings in buildings and facilities.
• Perform repair and replacement of doors, locks, frames, windows, cabinets, shelves, partitions, and furniture.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine the dimensions and materials required.
• Assemble and install furniture, panels, or wooden partitions as per design requirements.
• Conduct finishing, polishing, and varnishing work to maintain a high-quality appearance.
• Inspect and identify damaged or defective woodwork and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
• Coordinate with other maintenance teams (plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.) to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas in good working condition.
• Comply with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance operations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Technical Diploma or Certificate in Carpentry or related trade.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Carpenter in a Facility Management or Construction company in Qatar or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good physical condition and attention to detail.
• Basic communication skills in English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
• Valid QID and transferable visa preferred.
