Position Summary:
The Carpenter Foreman is responsible for supervising and guiding a skilled team of carpenters to deliver high-quality, luxury woodwork and custom furniture. This role ensures that all carpentry works meet premium standards of design, precision, and finish, aligned with client expectations and project specifications.
The Carpenter Foreman is a hands-on leader who balances technical expertise, team management, and quality control to ensure timely and flawless execution of luxury interior and furniture projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervision & Leadership
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of carpenters in daily operations.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project schedules.
- Conduct regular quality checks to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, designers, and other trades for seamless workflow.
2. Technical & Craftsmanship Excellence
- Oversee the production, assembly, and installation of luxury furniture, bespoke joinery, wall panels, doors, and decorative elements.
- Ensure all works are executed according to technical drawings, specifications, and luxury finish standards.
- Demonstrate expertise in precision carpentry, veneer work, wood finishing, and specialty joinery techniques.
- Perform hands-on carpentry tasks when required to maintain quality benchmarks.
3. Quality Control & Safety Compliance
- Maintain rigorous quality assurance on all carpentry outputs, ensuring flawless finishes and precise detailing.
- Implement and enforce workshop and site safety standards.
- Inspect tools, equipment, and materials for proper use and maintenance.
4. Material & Resource Management
- Monitor and optimize the use of high-quality materials to reduce waste.
- Track inventory, report material requirements, and ensure secure handling of premium wood and finishes.
5. Team Development & Reporting
- Train and mentor carpenters and helpers on luxury woodworking techniques.
- Evaluate performance, provide feedback, and foster a culture of craftsmanship excellence.
- Prepare progress reports on work completed, manpower, and material usage for management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Carpentry, Woodworking, or Interior Fit-Out.
- Minimum 5–8 years of carpentry experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in luxury furniture or high-end interior projects.
- Expertise in precision woodworking, veneering, finishing, and custom joinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and 3D plans.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with safety standards and workshop/site protocols.
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering exquisite craftsmanship.

Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
