Carpenter

• Read and interpret construction drawings, formwork layouts, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and assemble wooden/metal formwork (shuttering) for concrete structures.
• Install and fix formwork for columns, beams, slabs, walls, and foundations.
• Ensure correct alignment, level, and dimensions of formwork before concreting.
• Fix and support formwork using props, braces, clamps, and scaffolding.
• Apply release agents (shuttering oil) to ensure smooth removal after concrete sets.
• Dismantle formwork carefully after curing without damaging structures.
• Repair and maintain formwork materials for reuse.
• Coordinate with steel fixers and site engineers to ensure proper reinforcement and structure setup.
• Follow site safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Check quality of formwork to avoid leakage or deformation during concrete pouring.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and storage of materials.
• Ensure work is completed as per project schedule and quality standards.
