The Carpenter Foreman will lead a team of skilled carpenters and joiners in delivering high‑quality interior fit‑out works and custom furniture production. This role requires strong technical expertise in carpentry, hands‑on leadership, and the ability to manage site operations and workshop activities to ensure timely, precise, and high‑standard project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership — Supervise, train, and coordinate carpenters, joiners, and helpers across workshop and site activities.
- Project Execution — Oversee daily carpentry tasks including cutting, assembling, installing, and finishing woodwork for interior fit‑out projects.
- Quality Control — Ensure all work meets company standards, project specifications, and client expectations.
- Material Management — Monitor material usage, request supplies, and ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.
- Technical Drawings — Interpret shop drawings, cutting lists, and installation details accurately.
- Site Coordination — Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Health & Safety — Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard‑free work environment.
- Reporting — Prepare daily progress reports and communicate site needs or issues promptly.
Qualifications & Skills
- Carpentry Expertise — Minimum 5–7 years of carpentry experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Fit‑Out Knowledge — Strong background in interior fit‑out, joinery installation, and custom furniture fabrication.
- Technical Ability — Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
- Leadership Skills — Strong communication, team management, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Tool Proficiency — Skilled in using carpentry machinery, hand tools, and installation equipment.
- Time Management — Ability to plan tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- GCC Experience — Experience in UAE or GCC interior fit‑out industry is a must .
