CARPENTER/ PAINTER

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter/Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance. You will be responsible for performing repairs, installations, and finishing work with a strong focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry repairs, installations, and adjustments (doors, cabinets, partitions, furniture).

• Carry out painting works including surface preparation, patching, sanding, priming, and finishing.

• Repair and maintain wooden structures, gypsum partitions, shelves, and fixtures.

• Mix, match, and apply paints, varnishes, stains, and coatings as required.

• Inspect work areas, identify defects, and recommend corrective actions.

• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.

• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and follow proper waste disposal.

• Ensure all tasks comply with safety standards and PPE requirements.

• Coordinate with supervisors and team members to complete work on time.

Qualifications

• Skilled in carpentry repairs, painting, polishing, and finishing works

• Experience with tools, equipment, measurements, and basic drawings

• Knowledge of surface preparation, patching, sanding, and coating application

• Ability to perform minor civil works and general maintenance tasks

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

• Follows safety procedures and uses proper PPE

• Reliable, disciplined, and able to work independently or in a team
